Fifa World Rankings April 2025
Fifa's World Rankings for April 2025 were published on April 3, 2025 at FIFA HQ in Zurich in Switzerland. They are the first men's rankings of the year and the first since December 2024.
There was some change in the top 20 teams since December, 2024.
World Cup winners Argentina remain at the top of the rankings, Euro 2024 winners Spain are now second followed by France, who stay ahead of England in fourth.
Next comes Brazil, The Netherlands, Portugal, then Belgium, Euro 2020 winners Italy followed by Germany in 10th.
Morocco who reached the semifinals in Qatar are still the top African team in 12th place (up two) with Senegal in 19th (down two). Wales are 29th (no change). The USA are in 16th place (no change).
Australia are in 26th place (no change from December); Japan, who have already qualified for World Cup 2026, are in 15th position. South Korea are 23rd.
The Republic of Ireland are in 60th place, again no change, while Northern Ireland are in 71st place. The lowest-ranked team is San Marino in 210th place with Eritrea unranked.
