Fifa's World Rankings for October 2024 were published on October 24, 2024 at FIFA HQ in Zurich in Switzerland.

There were were only a few changes in the top 20 teams since September, 2024.

World Cup winners Argentina remain at the top of the rankings, France are still second followed by Euro 2024 winners Spain, who stay ahead of beaten finalists England.

Next comes Brazil, Belgium, Portugal, The Netherlands, Euro 2020 winners Italy followed by Colombia.

Morocco who reached the semifinals in Qatar are still the top African team in 13th place. Wales are 29th. The USA are in 18th place.

Australia are in 24th place (up 1 from September); Japan are in 15th position - up 1 slot. Near neighbors, South Korea are 22nd in the rankings. Scotland are in 51st place up 1 place from the previous rankings.

The Republic of Ireland are in 63rd place, down one, while Northern Ireland are in 71st place, up 2 slots. The lowest-ranked team is San Marino in 210th place with Eritrea unranked.
