Fifa World Rankings April 2024
Fifa's World Rankings for April 2024 were published on April 4, 2024 at FIFA HQ in Zurich in Switzerland.
There were a few changes in the top 10 teams since February, 2024.
World Cup winners Argentina remain at the top of the rankings, France are still second followed by Belgium, who leapfrog England.
England are now fourth, followed by Brazil, Portugal, The Netherlands, Spain, Euro 2020 winners Italy, and then Croatia.
Morocco who reached the semifinals in Qatar are still the top African team in 13th place. Wales are 29th. The USA are in 11th place, up two.
Australia are in 23rd place (up 2); Japan are in 18th position. Near neighbors, South Korea are 23rd in the rankings. Scotland are in 39th place down 5 spots from the previous rankings.
The Republic of Ireland are in 60th place, up two, while Northern Ireland are in 73rd place, up 1 slot. The lowest-ranked team is San Marino in 210th place with Eritrea unranked.
