Changlimithang Stadium in the Kingdom of Bhutan is one of the "highest" stadiums in the world and one of the most beautiful.

The stadium is literally 2,300 meters (7,500 feet) above normal sea level. The stadium was built in 1974 to mark the coronation of the 4th king of Bhutan.

The multi-purpose stadium has been constantly upgraded in 2007-2008, 2011 with the last refurbishment in 2016.

The stadium plays host to a number Bhutanese league teams and these include Druk Pol FC, Druk Star FC, Druk United FC and Thimpu City FC. The Bhutan national team also uses the stunning ground as their home stadium.
