Siu Sai Wan is one of Hong Kong's more modern stadiums and a regular venue for Hong Kong Premier League games.
The stadium is still quite recent and was built for the tidy sum of HK $230 million. The grand opening was in December 1996. The Sports Ground is a concrete structure built on a single level and there is a running track around the stadium.
Teams that have used the stadium in the past include Citizen AA (2009-10 season) and Yokohama Hong Kong FC (2012-13 season)
The stadium also hosted Hong Kong World Cup 2006 qualification games in 2004 between Hong Kong and China and also Kuwait.
Major friendlies seen at the ground include the A League's Melbourne Victory taking on China on 4 July 2007. South China also played a Chelsea team with Roberto Di Matteo in 1997 with the Blues winning 3-2.
How To Get to Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground
Fans can take the MTR on the Island line to the Chai Wan MTR station. From there use Exit and then take the MiniBus number, 47M, to the stadium.
