FIFAe Next Gen 2024 kicks off new era
In an important step in the evolution of football esports competitions, Ichsan Miracle Taufiq with assistant manager, Manar wednesday Hidayat, from Indonesia have made history today by becoming the inaugural champion of the FIFAe World Cup™ featuring Football Manager. The trophy lift concluded the showpiece event as the Exhibition Centre Liverpool transformed into the epicentre of football esports from 28 August to 1 September.The first-ever FIFAe Next Gen event showcased a new era of FIFAe with its first multi-title approach, creating a new platform for different communities by featuring Football Manager alongside eFootball™.
Adding to events in Liverpool this week, John Terry made a special appearance, offering insights to players and inspiring the community:

FIFAe World Cup™ featuring Football Manager
The FIFAe World Cup™ featuring Football Manager brought together 20 players, each accompanied by an assistant manager, from around the globe.
Participating in a unique format over four days, in addition to a pre-season day, Ichsan Miracle Taufiq with assistant manager, Manar wednesday Hidayat, from Indonesia emerged victorious, lifting the trophy and receiving the newly created gold medals.
Having competed in a career mode format with one selected partner club in the group stage, each group winner will receive an invitation to visit the respective club and have the chance to learn more about the traditional football industry.
FIFAe Fame Your Game Cup – an eFootball™ mobile showcase
The FIFAe Next Gen event also featured the FIFAe Fame Your Game Cup, an eFootball™ mobile showcase.
Thawatchai 'Talonesui' Noongam from Thailand claimed victory in FIFAe’s first mobile esports competition, demonstrating his skills against some of the best eFootball™ mobile players in the world.
