At the recent FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™ Draw, Carli Lloyd talked about her excitement for the tournament and encouraged fans not to miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
"There's not a whole lot of time between now and the tournament, so now the excitement truly kicks in. I think this World Cup is going to be the best one yet because we're seeing the results of the investment, the support that's been coming through, and the brand of football on the field just keeps getting better," said Lloyd.
"This is probably going to be the hardest World Cup to win and, in terms of quality, it just keeps getting better. Although I miss competing, I'm looking forward to sitting back and watching it as a fan."
