NEW LR VICENZA SHIRTS
The new LR Vicenza Home kit for the 2022-2023 season, designed and manufactured by their new technical sponsor, FILA, the historical sportswear and leisurewear firm and an iconic brand in the world of sport, in collaboration with the style office at Diesel, a brand of the OTB group, owners of the club, will make its debut on the pitch at the Romeo Menti stadium on Saturday 6 August on the occasion of the friendly match against Champions of Italy AC Milan.
The bold, innovative style that has always characterized FILA's collections returns after over twenty years of absence to clothe an Italian football team, the only one in Europe.
The new Home shirt of the biancorossi team maintains the traditional combination of red and white vertical stripes. The graphic pattern is characterised by a thin zigzag and by the two tone-on-tone shades of red of the vertical bands that make the overall effect more elegant and less impactful, as does the thin intermediary line that divides the white stripes.
The same motif continues on the short sleeves, ending in a red and white hem in a smoother fabric, and with lateral inserts to make the overall effect more dynamic.
The main characteristic of this fabric, entirely Made in Italy, composed of 78% polyester and 22% elasthane, is the zigzag texture that allows higher breathability and a sense of freshness for those who practise sport daily.
An indispensable element on the left breast is the blue R, the historic symbol of Lanerossi, which is repeated on the right side of the shorts and on the front of the socks; on the other side is the FILA logo, both made of silicone with a special embossed effect. Printed prominently at the centre is the Diesel logo, while a silver label has been applied at the bottom right certifying the product with the wording "Official Licensed Product FILA/LR Vicenza".
The structure of the back of the shirt maintains the same theme, interrupted by the white square containing the shirt number. One barely perceptible detail makes all the difference: two small Rs printed inside the number, recalling even more that heritage flavour that the two century-old firms, the Club and FILA, have in common. Again on the back is the shield that is the symbol of the Province of Vicenza, which has been present there for some time, underlining the importance of the territory and the club's closeness to it and to its fans.
The polo neck is replaced by a V-neck, which lightens the shirt and makes it more comfortable.
The match shorts, total optical white, are made with a smooth 100% polyester fabric with red contrasting inserts and embossed silicone logos, while the match socks are made with a composition of yarns (95% polyamide and 5% elesthane) designed to give softness and elasticity. The two logos are woven directly into the fabric.
The Away shirt changes register: total black "dirtied" by an unprecedented interplay of horizontal grey tones with the FILA logo in full in silicone and the traditional white R inlaid in a red circle. The back of the shirt is black without different shades and has the same details as the home shirt.
Completing the away strip are the shorts and socks, total black with the same inserts of horizontal and vertical red bands as the home version.
The same dynamics of tones with horizontal bands are revisited on the Third shirt, in a total white version. Totally separate, on the other hand, are the shorts and socks, which are proposed in red with white inserts and details. The blue R logo returns.
The goalkeepers' strips are distinguished by their imposing fluorescent colours: blue for the Home shirt, green for the Away shirt and orange for the Third shirt. The theme of grey tones is only taken up in the Home shirt.
FILA and L.R. Vicenza will play on the field bringing shared values and objectives developed over more than a century of history. The journey just begun, however, will have a thread running through it, a red and white thread, which will place the spotlight on this new adventure: the highlighting of their brands to confirm their excellence in products Made in Italy, for sport, and not only.
