MUST CPK FC
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has taken note of the Macau Football Association (AFM)'s confirmation of the withdrawal of MUST CPK FC from participating in the AFC Cup 2022™.
The AFC notes the challenges faced by MUST CPK as a result of the travel restrictions in Macau due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the matter will now be referred to the relevant AFC Committees.
Consequently, there will be no replacement for MUST CPK in the AFC Cup 2022™ Group J, which will now consist of three teams - Hong Kong sides Eastern Long Lions and Lee Man as well as Chinese Taipei's Tainan City FC.
As confirmed on May 5, 2022, Group J will take place in Buriram, Thailand as scheduled from June 24 to 30.
