"Al Rihla" - The Official Football of Qatar World Cup 2022 Launched!
For any FIFA World Cup to go-ahead, aside from the stadiums, fans, and of course, teams…..there has to be a new ball!
Adidas have just unveiled the "Al Rihla" which all participating teams will use.
The ball is said to have a rapid velocity when moving through the air.
Fans hope it will add to the entertainment and skill level of the tournament….though not leave some players frustrated like they were with the World Cup 2010 ball, "The Jabulani."
The "Al Rihla" will be the official match ball for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Celebrities and World Cup winners Kaka and Iker Casillas were involved in events to mark the unveiling of the design.
Adidas have had a stranglehold on supplying the official world cup balls and this is the 14th Men's World Cup in a row that they have provided to the greatest show on earth.
