SC Olhanense
Olhanense are a Portuguese professional club from the small, resort town of Olhão on the Algarve in the south of the country.
Olhanense have been in the top flight of Portuguese football as recently as 2014 but are presently in the second division (Segunda Liga). The team plays its football as the rather run down 11,600-capacity Estadio Jose Arcanjo. The team was formed back in 1912 and were the first team from outside the two big cities of Lisbon or Porto to win a major trophy, the Campeonato de Portugal in 1924.
Abel Xavier, the former Liverpool full back, began his managerial career with the club in 2013.
