Fifa World Rankings July 2015
Fifa's World Rankings for July 2015 were published on Thursday at FIFA HQ in Zurich, Switzerland.
The Fifa World Rankings are now published on Thursday and not Wednesday as before.
Losing Copa America finalists Argentina are top, overtaking 2014 world champions Germany. 2010 World Cup winners Spain now in 12th place. Following Argentina are Germany, Belgium, Colombia, the Netherlands, Brazil, Portugal, Romania, England and Wales.
England are eleven places higher than they were a year ago and continue unbeaten in Euro 2016 qualifying. Wales are incredibly 10th, up from a lowly 44th a year ago. Algeria are the top African team in 19th place.
Asian Cup winners Australia are in 59th place; beaten quarter-finalists Japan are in 50th. South Korea are in 52nd place after making the final of the Asian Cup, where they lost narrowly to the hosts.
The USA are in 34th. Scotland are in 29th position. The Republic of Ireland are in 59th place, Northern Ireland are in 37th position after a decent start in Euro 2016 qualifying.
