Fifa World Rankings March 2015
Fifa's World Rankings for March 2015 2014 were published on Thursday at FIFA HQ in Zurich, Switzerland. The Fifa World Rankings are now published on Thursday and not Wednesday as before.
2014 world cup champions Germany remain at the top of the Fifa rankings followed by Argentina, Colombia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Brazil, Portugal, France, Uruguay and Italy.
England are in 17th place, down two spots, despite reasonable form in Euro 2016 qualifying, and a 3-1 win in Scotland in their latest friendly.
Algeria are the top African team and are still in 18th place.
Asian Cup winners Australia are in 65th place; beaten quarter-finalists Japan are in 53rd. South Korea are in 56th place after making the final of the Asian Cup.
The USA are in 32nd place, down from last month. Scotland are in 39th position with Wales in 37th. The Republic of Ireland are in 66th place, Northern Ireland are in 43rd position after a decent start in Euro 2016 qualifying.
